Release channels

Stable for projects. Beta for what is next.

Stable releases are provided through your verified account, with a published checksum for each package.

Beta and preview builds carry new products and features before they are stable. Commands, parameters and layer names may still change, and results should be cross-checked. Report anything unexpected through the help centre.

Versions follow MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH. The tractrix/1 protocol is versioned separately: additive fields do not change it; renaming or removing a field requires tractrix/2.

Verify a download

Compare the SHA-256 checksum of the file you downloaded with the value published on the release page and in this download centre.

# Windows (PowerShell)
Get-FileHash .\tractrix-file.zip -Algorithm SHA256

# macOS
shasum -a 256 tractrix-file.zip

# Linux
sha256sum tractrix-file.zip

If the values differ, do not install the file. Download it again from your account and contact support if the checksum still differs.

System requirements

What each product needs.

The QGIS plugin needs nothing beyond QGIS. The CAD add-ins require a Cloud API token or a separately installed local engine. They run on Windows hosts.
