Summary of privacy notice version 1.0-draftDraft of 30 September 2026

Who we are

What we collect

  • On this website: nothing optional unless you opt in. Your browser keeps your cookie choice, and your theme or language if you pick one. Our web host keeps server logs (IP address, time, page, browser) to deliver and protect the site. No advertising trackers. When enabled on all supported language pages, opt-in experiment analytics measures variant performance through our EU Tractrix Cloud service. A random browser identifier lasts 30 days; pseudonymous measurements last 90 days. See the cookie notice for details.
  • In the desktop products (Tractrix for QGIS, the OpenAirside engine, and the AutoCAD and Revit add-ins with the local engine): nothing. They run on your computer and contain no telemetry.
  • In Tractrix Cloud: your name, e-mail address, a hashed password, your organisations and roles, sign-in sessions and security events (with shortened IP addresses), API token metadata, usage and, on paid plans, billing details.
  • When you contact us: your message, your contact details and our reply.

Why we use it

To run the service you signed up for, keep it secure, meter plan limits and bill, answer your questions, meet legal obligations and, only if you agree, send product news. We do not sell or share personal data, do not use it for targeted advertising, do not profile you and do not use your content to train models (purposes and legal bases).

Who receives it

Owners and admins of your organisation; service providers who host and operate Tractrix Cloud for us under contract (sub-processors); our payment processor; professional advisers; and authorities where the law requires it. Transfers outside the EEA, the UK or Switzerland use recognised safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (details).

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed. For example: unverified accounts are deleted after 30 days; security events after 12 months; a deleted account is purged after a 30-day grace period (full schedule).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. In Tractrix Cloud, use Settings → Privacy to download your data or delete your account; otherwise use the privacy request page. You can also complain to your data protection authority (details, regional supplements).
